Actually, no, we don't need to. Our company is structured to be 100% paperless and virtual. We can connect however else you like! Phone, email, text, FaceTime, Skype, Whatsapp; you name it. Whatever you're most comfortable with, we will adjust so we can connect with you how you like. This does not mean, however, that our staff will never try to make a trip out to visit. Our reps will do their best to visit as they are able.

About how long does it take to get fully set up?

This really depends on the style of your company. We can start improving your HR structure today. Typically it takes a few weeks to get the technology built out to fit your company's needs. If you are looking for payroll, benefits and workers' comp services, we will begin quoting it out immediately upon receiving the proper information from your company.​

When can we start?

Once you contact us, we will connect and come up with a plan of action based on your goals as a company. The call can take anywhere from 15-60 minutes. It just depends on how many questions you have and would like answered. After that, we will draw up a service agreement and send your first invoice. Once those items are finalized, our service will begin. 

My company has less than 15 employees. Can I hire OolaHR?

YES! YES! YES! We love helping small companies. Our pricing above includes a monthly rate for companies with 1-25 employees.

Do we need to meet in person?

What's the difference between OolaHR & a PEO?

The main difference is when hiring a PEO, you and your staff actually become an employee of that PEO. The "benefit" --or so they say-- is that you can get into better group options for benefits and workers' compensation plans. This is offset by you premium which is typically bid out at a percentage of your payroll. Your fee could range from 1.25-3.0% of your payroll amount.  So, if you have 30 employees and $1.5 million in payroll, a PEO charging a modest 2.25% fee will have a monthly premium of $2,500. Our fee (not including payroll is $1,170 ($39 x 30EE).

The other difference (and it's a BIG one), is that you won't get the kind of attention OolaHR will provide you through a PEO. Your company is our company at heart, and how successful your HR practices are is a reflection of how well we are providing our service. You'll get a quarterly call from your PEO rep, but with us, we'll check on you regularly and look for items to improve. 

Can I see your technology to know if I'll like it?

Absolutely! We'd be happy to show you the platform we use. We are a bit biased about it, to be honest. It's a user-friendly, easily-learned, all-encompassing HR technology that can help streamline your staff management processes while also provide and store necessary data and information. Just ask.

What kind of experience does your company have?

Our clients are provided with representatives who are certified by the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and have an extensive background in HR and business management/development. 

Can I buy your features a la carte?

We are happy to provide you our hourly consulting rate, and we are able to provide you pretty much anything under the sun.

Is my company required to sign an agreement?

We ask our HR support package clients to sign a basic 12-month agreement requiring a 30-day notice that you would like to discontinue services. This gives us enough time to handle all documentation and information properly.
